We are delighted to be taking part in The Big Give’s Christmas Challenge 2023. The Christmas Challenge runs from noon on 28th November until noon on 5th December.
We are reaching out to our friends and supporters because we believe in the power of collective action and the positive change that can come when a community comes together for a common cause.
The Situation
More than one in five of the UK population (22%) is in poverty, and whilst food banks have appeared across the UK to provide support, there are very few options for finding essential, affordable clothing.
The Solution
Clothing Collective provide Charity Shop Gift Vouchers, which are distributed via our carefully chosen Charity Partners, who ensure our clothing vouchers go to those in need. Beneficiaries can then visit a participating charity shop to choose clothing to suit them. In turn this provides funds for our local partner charities too, helping them to carry on their work, caring for vulnerable members of our community. Watch this short video to see how it works.
One beneficiary told us “I am in desperate need of clothing and have come from the street. This means everything to me as I have lost everything.”

How You Can Make a Difference
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsor, Rahul Moodgal, and our charity partners Migrant Help every £1 donated via our Big Give Link will be doubled. So when you give £1 we get £2!
Please give whatever you can, your support will enable Clothing Collective to provide clothing to those in need. Our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign is aiming to provide £4,000 of clothing vouchers to people in need of warm clothing this winter.
A donation of £5 will become £10 and could buy a warm jumper for a homeless person.
A donation of £20 will become £40 which could buy an elderly person a warm coat.
A donation of £50 will become £100 and could help a family buy warm coats for their children.
And don’t forget, every penny of the voucher goes on to help the Charity Shop’s organisation too so it’s a win/win situation!
