This spectacular route takes you from the city and out along the Brighton seafront. Featuring incredible crowd support cheering you on to the finish line, and a new-and-improved route taking you past more communities.
Marathon Distance: 26.2 miles Elevation: 958ft (ascent) / 1007ft (descent) *elevation calculated based on the 2022 route and subject to change with the new route
Terrain: Road
Starting at Preston Park, your course will take you through the city and past iconic landmarks including the Royal Pavilion. You will then make your way to the coast and towards the beautiful headland village of Ovingdean, before running along the Brighton and Hove seafront attractions including the famous beach huts, the remains of the West Pier, and the Brighton Palace Pier. You’ll head towards your new finish line at Hove Lawns, beside the sea for a quick dip…
