Get your boots on for the Peak District Challenge 2025

Interested in taking part in a sponsored event, but prefer walking to running? Well the 2025 Peak District Challenge is for you!

This fantastic event offers walkers of all abilities the chance to hike through the beautiful Peak District landscape and raise funds for charity in the process.

Held on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September (depending on the distance you choose), this event will see walkers (and some runners) tackling the peaks and rolling countryside.

There are five different challenges available, including a new '100 miles in 24 hours':

• Copper Challenge - 25km

• Bronze Challenge - 50km

• Silver Challenge - 75km

• Gold Challenge - 100km

• 100 Miles in 24 hours

Depending on your hiking ability, you can choose a distance that suits you best. Each of the challenges have different routes that also vary in their terrain and altitude climbed.

For some of the, there's the option to self-guide around the route or join a group with a mountain guide.

As well as getting to enjoy the wonders of the Peak District and challenging yourself, you will also get the chance to help us to support people in need, by raising funds for us with your sponsorship. This is a vital way to ensure we can continue with our mission to tackle clothing poverty here in the UK.
