Nucha partnership offers a marketplace with purpose

We are pleased to announce that we have been selected as one of the causes that users of Nucha, an online marketplace with purpose, can help to raise valuable funds for us.

What is Nucha?

Nucha is an online platform that positions itself as supporting great causes at the centre of the 'resale revolution'.

At it's core, it's a space for people to sell and buy clothing, shoes and accessories. It contains an expanding selection of second hand items for women, men and kids from well-known brands.

However Nucha is more than that - it's a platform that allows you to donate and fundraise for causes all in one place.

Here's how it works:

Sellers select the cause they want to support with the earnings they make from their sales (which doesn't cost the buyer any more money).
Buyers find things they want and make a purchase. The pre-set donation amount is automatically taken from the seller's funds.
Nucha then sends 100% of the donations collected to the cause.

As one of the listed causes, you can select Clothing Collective and then we receive valuable funds to help us provide access to clothing to people in need.

How else can I use Nucha to fundraise?

As well as selling and buying on the platform, there's several ways you can use Nucha to help fundraise for Clothing Collective:

Create a fundraiser

On Nucha you can create a fundraiser activity - such as running a marathon or doing a sponsored hike.

Create an event

You can create a community event for your chosen cause, such as a coffee and cake morning, jumble sale or quiz night.

Work as a team

Join up with others and work together to fundraise for a cause. You can register a team, such as one with work colleagues, then combine your fundraising potential.

Donate

If you want to make a direct donation to a cause, then you can also do so with Nucha. Simply select the cause and choose whether you want that to be a one-time donation or a regular one.

Tracking your giving

As a user, you can track how your purchases are making a difference to the cause you want to support. The app has an Impact Dashboard that shows your personal contributions, plus you get updates on how these contributions are being used by the charities you support.

You can also easily share your giving milestones, to encourage friends and family to get involved too.
