Redonate.uk, our charity clothing collection partner, has recently expanded their free doorstep collection area.
As well as London most of the Home Counties and some other areas, they are now offering collection in Brighton and in Scotland (for certain postcode areas).
This is great news for people who live in these areas, but also for us as a charity, as we can increase the number of people who will donate clothes that in turn will mean a donation of funds back from Redonate.uk for us.
Brighton is a city with a big focus on recycling and the environment, especially with the Green Party having had an MP there for over 15 years.
In Scotland, Redonate.uk will be collecting in Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond, in these postcode areas:
G (Glasgow)
EH (Edinburgh)
PA (Paisley and surrounding areas)
KA (Kilmarnock & Ayrshire)
ML (Motherwell & Lanarkshire)
FK (Falkirk & Stirling)
KY (Kirkaldy & Fife)
DD ( Dundee & Angus).
How to check your area is covered
To find out if your area is covered by their free clothing collection service, simply go to our dedicated page on their website. Just type in your postcode and it will tell you if you're in an eligible area.
If you are, then you can complete the rest of the form to arrange your collection.
Then just put your unwanted clothing and unwanted items in black bags and leave them on your doorstep on the day and time you requested.
